In August of 2014 I traveled to Tuscany, Italy on an amazing journey to live and learn with 29 other yoga-loving humans from all over the globe. We stayed on a gorgeous farm, ate all of our meals al fresco and learned so much about yoga, community and ourselves.
My month in Italy was not an easy one. While I enjoyed my time immensely - I left the states with a lot of loose ends and uncertainty concerning a relationship that just wasn't feeling right, but one that I wanted to work so badly. I was in love, but it was one-sided. I left the states not knowing where we stood or what I was going to come back to in September when I returned. It was agonizing.
During the last week of our training we wrote a letter to ourselves three months into the future. Sora, our guide for this activity, encouraged us to think about what we wanted to feel, what our lives would look like, and what we wanted to have accomplished by that date. I did not include my manifesto in it's entirety (below) as some of the items were very personal, but I do encourage you to write your own manifesto every three months and use it as a guide to help you create the life you desire. Cheers, MJ
P.S. If you would like to find out more about Sora, writing your manifesto or connect with her about the awesome work she is doing with the "magic of circle" check out www.sorasuryano.com.

Dear Meghan, 11/24/2014
I can’t believe it’s already November 24, 2014! I’m feeling so proud of all the work I have done to create my yoga in the classroom lessons, curriculum and teacher training workshops. I feel so so much joy for being able to share yoga and passion with teachers from, an entire school district this year! I am impacting the world and inspiring soo many.
I can communicate my wants, needs, and feelings with ease and confidence. I am ready to take the leap into my amazing future!
I’ve created a lovely sanctuary in my new apartment with my roommate where I can grow, expand, play and manifest my most wonderful dreams for my career, family, love life, and future. I am making time for loads of yoga, walks and time to reflect and recharge. I am feeling so good in my body by attending 3 yoga classes a week!
My friendships with my RKY friends have continued to grow and deepen over the past few months. I am looking forward to the trip I have planned to celebrate and honor myself and my journey this year in Punta Cana. I feel brave, courageous and unstoppable!
I am feeling secure and proud in my body. I am able to express love and compassion when it comes to family. I am so happy spending time with my loved ones.
I am proud of me! It has been such an amazing year of doing things just for me! Just to better myself. I continue to listen to my heart because it tells me that everything I desire is possible! I feel the excitement from having the world at my fingertips. I no longer stand on the edge - I am brave and courageous. I believe in myself and I take leaps to achieve my dreams.
I love myself so much!
P.S. If you have chosen to end your relationship with *Mark* I hope that you gave yourself time to honor the sadness and found some time to grieve. If not, please do that - cleanse your spirit. You loved him a great deal - even if you never told him. Be open now to receiving love from all sources. Honor your feelings and don’t be afraid. You are such an amazing woman! Every relationship is a lesson in preparation for discovering your best self.
